Chulhee Lee received the B.S. and M.S degrees in electronics engineering from Seoul National University in 1984 and 1986, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, in 1992.

He joined the faculty of Yonsei University in 1996. Prof. Lee has played a leading role in developing ITU recommendations in the area of objective video quality measurement. He is the Rapporteur of Question 12 of ITU-T Study Group 9 and has served as co-chairs of the VQEG hybrid projects and RRNR-TV projects.

His research areas include image processing, video quality measurement and pattern recognition.
