Presentation of team ROBOTICS

The robotics team addresses several issues pertaining to the modeling, identification, control and design of various types of robots.

The know-how of the robotic team relies on the following methodological research axes:

  • Modeling, identification and control (modeling of manipulator robots and locomotor systems, identification fo dynamic parameters, computed control law or sensor-based control, Control of multi-arms robots, robots on mobile platforms, underactuated systems)

  • Design (robust design of serial and parallel mechanisms, conceptual design of mechanisms, type-synthesis and evaluation, singularity analysis of lower-mobility parallel mechanisms, design of variable actuated parallel mechanisms and reconfigurable robots
  • Interaction and perception (with the environnement or humans for manipulation, locomotion and control)
the following four research axes are addressed: production robotics, humanoid robotics, mobile robotics and bio-inspired robotics
